These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from House of Manus. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Company Information

House of Manus is a sole proprietorship based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. All products are handmade and shipped from Barcelona, Spain.

2. Products

We offer handmade accessories created using antique and one-of-a-kind textiles. Given the delicate nature of our antique fabrics, minor imperfections may be present. These imperfections are part of the unique character and story of each piece.

Each product is crafted individually, and variations in color, pattern placement, or texture may occur. These are not considered defects.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Accepted payment methods include:

    • PayPal

    • iDEAL

    • Credit Cards

    • Apple Pay

Payments are processed securely at the time of checkout. We do not store your credit card information.

4. Shipping

  • Orders are typically shipped within 5 working days of purchase.

  • We offer free in-person pickup in Barcelona (select this option at checkout).

  • All shipped orders include tracking information, which will be emailed to you when your order dispatches.

We ship to: Europe, UK, USA, Canada, Japan, and Australia.

Shipping Rates:

  • Within Europe: €8–€15

  • Outside Europe: Up to €30

Shipping times may vary depending on destination and carrier delays.

5. Returns and Refunds

If you're not satisfied with your order, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving it by emailing us at hola@houseofmanus.com.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unused, in perfect condition, and in original packaging

  • You must provide proof of purchase

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and we are not liable for returns lost or damaged in transit

Refunds:

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection

  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 7 working days to your original payment method

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including product images, text, logos, branding, and designs—is the property of House of Manus and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any materials without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

House of Manus is not liable for:

  • Delays in delivery caused by shipping carriers or customs

  • Loss or damage during return shipping

  • Errors in product listings or pricing

  • Temporary unavailability or malfunctions of the website

Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of your order.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Amsterdam.
